No. VinoSeeker runs in your web browser — open it in Safari, Chrome, or any browser at app.vinoseeker.com, with no app store and no waiting. If you want the full app experience, you can add VinoSeeker to your phone's home screen with one tap (it's a progressive web app).
How does VinoSeeker work?
Open VinoSeeker in your browser, then explore wineries nearby — search by location, wine style, or vibe. Check in at the wineries you visit, rate your tastings, and save your favorites. Add it to your home screen for quick access whenever you're out tasting.
Is VinoSeeker free?
Yes, VinoSeeker is free to use. There is also an optional Premium subscription that unlocks extra features such as AI flight-list scanning and Ava, the AI sommelier. The wine library is free for up to 12 bottles.
What can I do with VinoSeeker?

How do I find wineries near me?
Use the Discover feature to find wineries near you based on wine style, vibe, and what real wine lovers recommend. You can filter by tasting fees, hours, or whether a winery has dog-friendly patios.
Can I keep track of the wines I taste?
Yes. Check in at every winery, track the wines you try, and capture what made each tasting special with tasting notes, so you never forget another favorite vintage. Your wine library keeps your collection organized and tracked in one place.
How detailed are the tasting notes?
Very. VinoSeeker's advanced tasting notes cover every aspect a WSET-level taster might want. You can filter aroma and taste based on the UC Davis Wine Aroma Wheel — tapping the fruit, floral, spice, and earth notes you detect — and capture body, acidity, tannins, and finish, visualized as your wine's structure. It works whether you're a serious taster or just figuring out that you really like Malbec.
Can VinoSeeker teach me how to taste wine?
Yes. Ava, the AI sommelier, can take you through specific guided tastings and help you dig into individual elements — like how to taste acidity and tannins — so you build real tasting skills as you go.
Does VinoSeeker have a wine library or cellar tracker?
Yes. The Wine Library tracks every bottle, vintage, and drink-by date so you always know what you have and when it's at its best. You can start free with up to 12 bottles. The Collector plan unlocks unlimited bottles, named storage locations and shelves, label scanning with your camera, and Library Insights — varietal breakdowns, vintage charts, drinking-window timing, and producer trends.
Can VinoSeeker tell me where a bottle is stored and when to drink it?
Yes. With the Collector plan you can organize your wine by named location and shelf — wine fridge, rack, or off-site storage — so you never hunt for a special-occasion bottle, and you can sort by drinking window to grab the right wine in seconds. With the right subscription, Ava (the AI) can even help optimize how your wine is stored so the bottles that are in or past their drinking window are the easiest to reach.

Ava can also take you through specific guided tastings and help you dig into elements like how to taste acidity and tannins. And with the right subscription, Ava can help optimize the storage of your wine so libations that are in or past their drinking window are easy to access. Ava is a Premium feature.
Can I use VinoSeeker with friends?
Yes. Group Tastings let you taste alongside friends, and you can share discoveries, see where others are exploring, and build your wine community one tasting at a time.
