Save Anything, Organize Later: Meet Saved Items & Collections

VinoSeeker started with lists. You’d plan a wine-country weekend and build an itinerary; you’d round up wineries you meant to visit and file them away for later. Useful — but it asked something of you first: you had to know how everything fit together before you could save any of it. Name the list, decide the theme, then start adding. Organize, then capture.

Real life runs the other way.

The moment that got away

A friend texts you: you HAVE to try this Gamay before it’s gone. A somm you follow drops a bottle on your feed and you think, that’s the one. You’re not planning a trip. You’re not building anything. You just want to grab it before it slips your mind.

But where does it go? You don’t have a list for it yet — you don’t even know what it belongs with. So you tell yourself you’ll remember. You don’t. The recommendation’s gone by the weekend.

We built Saved Items and Collections so that never happens again.

Save first. Sort it out later.

Now you can save anything with a single tap:

  • A winery you want to visit (or come back to).
  • A specific wine — right down to the vintage, because the 2019 and the 2021 are not the same bottle and you know it.

Tap the bookmark, and it’s instantly in your Saved. No naming, no filing, no deciding where it fits. Capture it now; figure out what it means later.

Collections: your wine world, your way

When you’re ready to get organized — on the couch, not in the moment — file your saved things into Collections. These are named groupings you create: Cellar wishlist. Willamette weekend. Big reds for winter. Wines Mom will love.

A few things we think you’ll like:

  • A Collection can hold both wineries and wines in one place — a whole trip, planned.
  • One wine can live in several Collections at once. That Gamay your friend swore by can be in “Wishlist” and “Impress the in-laws.”
  • Everything lives on your Profile → Saved tab, with a simple Saved | Collections toggle.

The relationships reveal themselves once you’ve got a few things saved — which is exactly backwards from making a list, and exactly right.

What about my old lists?

Nothing’s lost. Your existing lists and itineraries are now Collections — same content, friendlier name. Pick up right where you left off.

The short version

Save in the moment. Organize when it suits you. Keep the wines and the wineries that matter to you all in one place.

Update to the latest version, tap that bookmark, and start building your collection.

Seek. Sip. Share.
