Alaska Legends Cider and Winery

Alaska Legends Cider and Winery opened in 2023 at 319 Dock Street in Ketchikan, Alaska. The business takes its name from the state's folklore and legends, and it aims to serve as a neighborhood gathering place where local stories and community meet. Each month it nominates a local "legend" to recognize a resident who contributes to the area. The tasting room pours house ciders on tap, including seasonal and year-round releases, and offers a wine list drawn from California, Washington, Portugal, Chile, and Italy. The selection ranges from a whiskey-barrel-aged wine to reds such as Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sangiovese, whites including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Riesling, and sparkling wines flavored with white cranberry and wild berry. Since obtaining its liquor license, the winery also serves handmade cocktails from Uncharted Alaska Distillery.
