Arenness Cellars

Arenness Cellars is a Washington State winery founded in 2017 by Robert Bailey and Su Matemanosak, with a focus on crafting small lots of exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon. Initially based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, the winery relocated its production to Walla Walla in 2025 to be closer to its vineyard sources and tap into the region's thriving winery scene. Arenness Cellars is known for its Vineyard-Designated Cabernet Sauvignon, with notable releases including a 2022 Double Gold Medal winner from Dubrul Vineyard and a 2023 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir also earning a Double Gold Medal at the 2026 Pacific Northwest Wine Competition. The winery's tasting room is located in Walla Walla's Airport District, offering visitors a chance to experience its "micro" production facility and sample its wines. With a background in viticulture and enology, Winemaker Robert Bailey brings valuable expertise to the winemaking process, shaped by his experiences working at various prominent wineries in Oregon and Napa Valley.
