Baer Winery

Baer Winery is a family-owned winery based in the Royal Slope AVA within the Columbia Valley of Washington State. Founded in 2000 by brothers Lance and Les Baer, the winery has continued under Lisa Baer's stewardship since her brother's passing in 2007. The team, led by Consulting Winemaker Erica Orr, develops Bordeaux-influenced wines using outstanding fruit sources from Stillwater Creek Vineyard. Lisa Baer, who balances her day job with managing marketing and distribution for the winery, has a background in marketing and an appreciation for food and wine gained through her family's travels. Les Baer, also a co-founder, handles accounting and bookkeeping, as well as state licensing and compliance issues, while maintaining an active hand in each harvest and bottling process. The tasting room is located at Woodin Creek Village and offers appointments-only tastings, with spring hours listed on the website.
