The winery has continued to evolve under Charlie's leadership, with his son and daughter playing increasingly important roles in its operations. Today, Barra of Mendocino produces premium wines using organic farming practices, which were officially adopted in 1989 after being certified by California Certified Organic Farmers. The winery's vineyards are located throughout the region, including Redwood Valley, Potter Valley, and Ukiah Valley, with a focus on varietals such as Petite Sirah and Zinfandel.
