Barsetti Vineyards

Barsetti Vineyards is a small family-owned winery located in the Lodi Wine Region of California's San Joaquin County. The estate is situated on 120 acres of land, which has been farmed by the Barsetti family for over three generations. The property was originally settled by Gottardo Barsetti, who immigrated from Switzerland in 1903 and established a dairy farm, beef cattle operation, and crop production. In 2001, Janis Barsetti Gray and her husband Richard Gray, both retired from corporate careers with United Airlines and Hertz Corporation respectively, began transforming the land into a vineyard, planting Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay grapes. The winery is now owned and operated by Janis, who continues to grow the estate's vines and manage the tasting room in Old Town Galt.
