Beacon Hill Winery

Beacon Hill Winery is a family-farmed estate winery located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of Oregon's Willamette Valley. The winery has been cultivating wine grapes for over 30 years and is known for producing traditional Oregon varietals such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as emerging as a top producer of Albariño in the region. Beacon Hill Vineyard, which totals 44 acres with 22 under planting, includes a range of clones including Pommard and 115 for Pinot Noir, and Albariño Clone 1. The winery's philosophy is centered around family farming practices, evident in their commitment to whole cluster pressing and small-lot fermentation in macro bins. Their wines are aged in neutral French oak barrels, with the 2022 Albariño receiving 91 points from James Suckling for its bright acidity and fleshy stone fruit flavors. The winery's tasting room is open seasonally, with reservations available up to 60 days in advance, offering visitors breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and stunning architecture. Founded by George Hillberry and Carla Rodríguez in 2011, Beacon Hill Winery & Vineyard continues the legacy of Tony Soter, who established the property in the late 1990s.
