Bloomer Creek Vineyard

Bloomer Creek Vineyard is a winery located on the west side of Cayuga Lake in Ovid, New York. The vineyard has been in operation since 1982 and is owned by Kim and Debra, who have recently relocated from their previous site on Seneca Lake. They are returning to their roots, literally, as the new location was once home to Susan Elekta Brewer, grandmother of Joe Myer, owner of nearby Myer Farm Distillers. The vineyard's focus is on old-world winemaking techniques and is known for producing Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Cabernet Franc wines. The property features a historic Greek Revival farmhouse, which now serves as the hub for wine production and tasting. However, due to their recent relocation, all tastings and direct sales are currently suspended until further notice. Once completed, visitors can expect to experience the tranquil atmosphere of the vineyard, surrounded by rolling hills, broad fields, and winding creeks. The winery's philosophy is centered around forging a sense of history and tradition at this picturesque location, where the story of Bloomer Creek wine continues to unfold with each new vintage.
