Blumenhof Vineyards & Winery is a small, family-owned winery located in the historic village of Dutzow, Missouri's oldest German settlement. The winery takes its name from the Blumenberg family's ancestral farm in northwestern Germany and reflects their German heritage through its architecture and warm, friendly ambiance. For over three decades, three generations of the Blumenberg family have been involved in growing and making award-winning wines solely from locally-grown Missouri grapes. Blumenhof has won numerous Best of Class awards in regional and international competitions, including the 2011 Governor's Cup for Best Wine in Missouri. The winery is situated just seven miles from Augusta and a short drive from St. Louis, Washington, and Chesterfield, inviting visitors to pack a picnic basket and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Blumenhof offers a spacious patio, an enclosed and heated deck, and a tasting room with a fireplace, hosting free live music every weekend during warmer months. The winery's vineyards are located within 60 miles of the winery, and all wines are made from Missouri-grown grapes sourced from their own vineyards and select independent growers. With hundreds of awards since its first vintage in 1986, Blumenhof is recognized as one of the most awarded all-Missouri wineries, producing a range of varietal wines that showcase the best of Missouri's wine country.
