Cane & Vine

Cane & Vine Wine Cellars is a winery located in Geneva, New York, on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. The husband-and-wife team of Mike and Jayne Gibbs, who also own Toast Winery in Schuyler County, have opened their new venture in a renovated building across from the Geneva Country Club. Their tasting room offers an approachable and casual atmosphere, with fireplaces on opposite sides of the main room creating a cozy spot for winter visits. The winery focuses on providing a wine tasting experience with a variety of wines, including dry to sweet whites, reds, and rosés. Cane & Vine will launch 12 new wines, including a bone-dry Cayuga White and a Petillant Naturel Dry Sparkling Rose of Marquette. Mike Gibbs is particularly excited about his pet-nat production method, which creates naturally sparkling wine by bottling the wine before fermentation completion. The winery offers flights of wine, as well as New York-made beer and cider, catering to both dry and sweet wine enthusiasts. With a focus on distinct wines and experiences, Cane & Vine aims to provide its own unique atmosphere and sense of being, separate from their existing Toast Winery.
