Cantina Silvano Strologo

Cantina Silvano Strologo is a winery located in the region of Marche, Italy, specifically in the area surrounding Monte Conero. The estate produces around 70,000 bottles per year and has undergone significant changes since its founding by Giulio Strologo in 1960. Initially producing wine in bulk, the cantina gained DOC status for its Conero Rosso in 1967, with Giulio being one of the founders of the producers' consortium. In 1997, Silvano and his wife Catia took over the business, introducing bottled wines and revamping the production process. The Conero Riserva was elevated to DOCG appellation in 2004. The winery focuses on the Montepulciano grape, which accounts for 12 of its 14 hectares, with three iterations of the Conero Rosso produced from this variety.
