Carriage House Vineyards

Carriage House Vineyards is a Kentucky estate winery that grows its own grapes and produces a wide range of wines from dry to sweet. Its lineup includes estate-grown Chambourcin aged for 18 months in bourbon barrels, Traminette, Cayuga White, Concord, and Rose of St. Vincent, alongside fruit wines made with locally sourced blueberries and strawberries and blends such as Midnight Cherry, a Pinot Noir and black cherry blend, and Raspberry Bramble, a raspberry and White Zinfandel blend. Visitors come to the tasting area to build their own six-wine flight from the current list. Each tasting board is served with bagel crisps and water, and build-your-own snack trays are available. Groups of two to four can arrive without a reservation, while parties of five or more need to schedule a tasting so seating can be arranged. In warmer months, guests can use the patio and outdoor areas. The winery recommends setting aside 45 minutes to an hour for a visit.
