Casino Mine Ranch

Casino Mine Ranch Winery, located in Amador County's Shenandoah Valley AVA, produces a range of estate wines from Rhône, Italian, and Spanish varietals planted on granite and quartz soils in the Sierra Foothills since 2012. The winemaking team, led by Andy Erickson, Jessica Tarpy Shaheen, and Nick Finarelli, crafts wines that are described as vibrant, aromatic, accessible, and fun. The winery's signature varietals include Teroldego, Vermentino, Mourvèdre, Tempranillo, Grenache, and Grenache Blanc. Notably, the 2025 Réserve Rosé took top honors at the 2026 Sunset International Wine Competition, earning Double Gold, Best of Class, and 97 points. This dry Provence-style rosé is a blend of Grenache Noir and Vermentino from estate-grown grapes in the Shenandoah Valley AVA.
