Chehalem Tasting Room

Chehalem Winery is a premium wine producer based in Oregon's Willamette Valley, with a strong focus on reflecting the unique characteristics of their vineyards through minimal processing and careful winemaking. The winery was founded in 1980 as Ridgecrest Vineyard operations, which would later become part of the Ribbon Ridge AVA, northwest of Newberg, Oregon. In 1995, Chehalem acquired Corral Creek, a third estate vineyard surrounding the winery, joining Ridgecrest and Dundee Hills farmlands. The winery's story is deeply rooted in its reverence for the land, with a commitment to sustainability reflected in their B Corp status, achieved in 2018 as one of only six Oregon wineries to meet this rigorous certification standard. Chehalem's signature varietals include Pinot Noir and Riesling, with a focus on showcasing the unique terroir of their estate vineyards. The tasting room offers visitors the opportunity to experience these wines firsthand, with a range of educational programs and events available through their hospitality team led by Director Dave Rice.
