Convergence Vineyards

Convergence Vineyards is a small, family-owned estate winery located in Amador County, California, within the Sierra Nevada Foothills region. This historic wine area is home to some of North America's oldest living grapevines and has a distinct American West frontier spirit. Founded by Brett and Huilin Cornell in 2002, Convergence Vineyards produces award-winning wines almost entirely by hand using the ancient Burgundian technique of open-topped fermentation. The winery's production team is comprised of just two individuals: Brett Cornell as Head Winemaker and Morgan Vonasek as Production Winemaker. With a focus on direct-to-consumer sales, Convergence Vineyards offers between 14 to 18 different wines annually in their tasting room or through their website. Visitors can expect an intimate experience with the winemakers themselves, who handle various aspects of the operation from lab work to vineyard maintenance. The winery's name "Convergence" reflects the three creeks that converge on its land: Rancheria, Amador, and Dry Creek.
