Croteaux Vineyards

Croteaux Vineyards is a winery located on the North Fork of Long Island, New York, exclusively dedicated to growing vinifera grapes for making rosé. Founded in 2003, the vineyard and tasting garden are situated amidst two historic farms that have been in continuous agricultural production since the 1700s. Croteaux's philosophy revolves around crafting dry, crisp, and fun-to-drink wines with distinct natural flavors, drawing inspiration from southern France and the North Fork's seaside style. Their rosés are released at the start of each season and typically sell out by fall, emphasizing the importance of consuming them young and fresh within a year or so of production. The winery offers a range of rosé styles, including Merlot 181, Merlot 314, and Cabernet Franc-based wines like "Sirène" and Sparkling 'Jolie'. Visitors can taste these wines in the garden from April 2nd onwards, daily from 12pm–6pm. Croteaux's focus on rosé is reflected in their atmosphere, which evokes a carefree summer vibe, perfect for sipping their refreshing wines amidst the historic farmland backdrop.
