Denner Vineyards

Denner Vineyards is a Paso Robles winery located in the Willow Creek District on the westside of Paso Robles. Their wines are site-specific, showcasing the vibrancy and freshness of their estate fruit, which is grown using dry-farming and organic practices. The winery's philosophy emphasizes non-interventionist winemaking techniques, including whole-cluster fermentation and native yeast fermentation, to translate the terroir of their calcareous clay vineyards, which reach elevations over 1,000 feet above sea level. Denner Vineyards was founded by Ron Denner in 2005, who developed the adjacent land from barley fields into vineyards before building a state-of-the-art gravity flow winery. Today, head winemaker Mark Williams works alongside consulting winemaker Anthony Yount, who made Denner one of California's great wineries through careful vineyard management and non-interventionist winemaking. The winery also prioritizes energy conservation, having installed a 140,000 DC watt solar project in 2008 to power the facility. Visitors can experience a blend of Old-World tradition and Paso Robles energy at the winery, which offers events and tastings amidst stunning views of the Santa Lucia Mountains and surrounding vineyards and farmland.
