Devona

Devona Winery is located in Walla Walla, Washington State, and was founded by a couple who met while studying at Oregon State University, where they developed an interest in Oregon Pinot Noir. After working in the California wine industry, they moved to Washington State and were part of the early days of Canoe Ridge Vineyard, which helped establish Washington's reputation for fine Merlot. They later co-founded Abeja Winery, a leader in Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. With Devona, their third winery, they focus on Pinot Noir, as well as other varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay, sourced from long-standing relationships with vineyards like Bacchus and Dionysus. The winemaking team is small, consisting of the couple, their Assistant Winemaker Enrique Ibarra, and part-time helpers Anne Hull and Patty Lynch. Tastings take place in the cellar, aiming to provide a welcoming and informative experience for visitors.
