Dion Vineyard

Dion Vineyard, located in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, was founded in 1973 by Ron and Joanne Johnson. The winery's history began with a 5-acre purchase, which marked the start of their Oregon wine adventure. With the help of Ron's father Al, who had experience growing wine grapes in the Yakima Valley, they planted their first Pinot Noir vines, launching into cool weather grape growing and year-round vine care. Today, Dion Vineyard crafts a limited production of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sparkling Wine from its estate vineyard, which boasts some of the oldest vines in the valley, dating back to 1976. The winery is a third-generation family farm that values sharing its special place with visitors. The tasting room offers complimentary tastings for Dion Wine Club members, who commit to purchasing a case of wine per year and receive exclusive access to special events, wines, and dinners, as well as 15% off all purchases in the Tasting Room. With a focus on small-batch production and family tradition, Dion Vineyard is an intimate destination for those seeking high-quality, estate-grown wines from the Willamette Valley.
