Doubleback

Doubleback is a small, family-owned winery located on the southern edge of Walla Walla, Washington, within the Walla Walla Valley AVA. Founded by Drew Bledsoe in 2007 after his retirement from the NFL, the winery focuses on estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon crafted in an elegant and true-to-varietal style. The winemaking team, led by CEO and Director of Winemaking Josh McDaniels, a Walla Walla native and Washington wine industry veteran, collaborates to push the boundaries of excellence in Cabernet Sauvignon. Doubleback's five estate vineyards are sustainably certified and farmed by their own dedicated crews, each unique to the others. The winery offers its wines on an allocated basis through limited releases exclusively to its mailing list members. Visitors can experience the winery through reservations, which welcome mailing list customers. The winemaking philosophy is centered around creating America's best Cabernet Sauvignon in a classic and elegant style, as evident from their early success with Wine Spectator's Top 100 List recognition for their inaugural vintage.
