Douglas Vineyards

Douglas Vineyards is a family-owned winery in Kannapolis, North Carolina, that opened in April 2015. The winery focuses on sweet fruit and muscadine wines, including labels such as Carlos, Bitchin Blackberry, and Midnight Blue, along with dry wines like Chardonnay, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Malbec. Tastings are served in the tasting room, while flights are made to be enjoyed at the visitor's own pace seated anywhere in the vineyard. The property hosts private parties and intimate weddings for up to 120 guests on its maintained grounds, with the front porch serving as a gathering spot. Douglas Vineyards also sells wine slushies year-round, Ashe County Cheese, and tasting-room-only items such as jellies, hot sauce, salsa, and pickles. Seasonal dessert wines, including port-style and ice wine selections, are available in November and December.
