Doukenie Winery

Doukenie Winery is a family-owned winery located in Loudoun County's Short Hill Mountain region of Virginia. For over four decades, the Bazaco family has cultivated the land and crafted exceptional wines on their 318-acre estate. The property features 23 acres of vineyards planted with 12 distinct grape varieties, alongside fields of corn, soy, and hay, as well as pastures for Black Angus cattle. The winery's focus is on meticulous craftsmanship, with each bottle produced on-site at the Hillsboro farm. Visitors can enjoy a range of wine tasting experiences, from flights to guided tastings, with walk-ins welcome or reservations available. Live music performances take place every weekend during the summer months, and special events are held throughout the year. Doukenie Winery's commitment to agriculture and preservation is evident in its working farm and picturesque landscape, which also serves as a haven for wildlife, including winery ducks and migratory Canada geese.
