Ducleaux Cellars

Ducleaux Cellars is a small family-owned winery located in The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater, within the Southside Walla Walla Valley region. Led by Chief Tasting Officer and Winemaker Toby Turlay, one of the few woman winemakers in the Valley, the winery produces small-production wines from their estate vineyard, Belle Roche and Petite Roche, as well as other local sources. The winemaking style is focused on creating outstanding artisan wines without pretension, reflecting the owners' approachable and fun personality. The tasting room experience is informal, with Chris or Toby often pouring wine and sharing their story. Reservations are encouraged but not necessary, and visitors can expect to see the owners in action Thursdays through Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. With a background in medical device sales and a stint at Navy flight school, Toby brings a unique perspective to winemaking, while Chris Dukelow handles finance and operations. The winery's roots lie in a single-bay garage, where they started their operation, and their philosophy is centered around sharing wine as an experience with family and friends.
