Eight Bells Winery

Eight Bells Winery is a Seattle-based urban winery located in the Roosevelt neighborhood at 10000 Lake City Way. Established in 2009 by partners Tim Bates, Andy Shepherd, and Frank Michiels, the winery produces approximately 2,000 cases of wine annually using grapes sourced from Eastern Washington's Red Willow and Boushey Vineyards. The team, now led by CEO Taylor Michiels (Frank's daughter) and her husband Kip, has expanded to include assistant winemaker Pete Zachara and events manager Tyson Theese. Eight Bells is known for its Bordeaux-style field blend "David's Block" from Red Willow Vineyard, as well as its award-winning Syrah and Chablis-style Chardonnay. The winery offers two wine club options and hosts member events in its tasting room space on Lake City Way.
