Frisky Fox Vineyard

Frisky Fox Vineyard is a family-owned and operated winery located on a farm near Riceville, Iowa, in Northern Iowa. The vineyard grows cold-hardy grape varieties such as Brianna, LaCrescent, Frontenac Blanc, Louise Swenson, Osceola Muscat, Petite Pearl, Marquette, Verona, and Sabrevois, with a focus on producing high-quality fruit for wine production. After a tornado damaged their initial 30 vines in 2011, the vineyard expanded to its current 550 vines, with additional grapes sourced from local vineyards. Frisky Fox Vineyard's winemaking philosophy emphasizes continuous improvement and collaboration with other regional wineries to develop the Midwest wine industry. The tasting room offers free popcorn and six complimentary wine tastings, with further tastings available for a fee.
