Goldeneye Winery is situated in the Anderson Valley appellation of Mendocino County, California, where it has established itself as a premier producer of Pinot Noir. Founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1996, Goldeneye's early efforts focused on identifying the ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir, which they found in the Anderson Valley's unique combination of clay soils and marine-influenced climate. The winery's estate vineyards, including three sites with over 200 acres of vineyard land and more than 20 distinct clones, are managed using rigorous farming practices to produce exceptional grapes. Goldeneye's state-of-the-art winery, one of only three in California to earn LEED Gold certification, is designed specifically for Pinot Noir production and reflects the winery's commitment to sustainability.
