Grassini Family Vineyards

Grassini Family Vineyards is a Santa Barbara County winery known for its estate-grown wines, particularly Sauvignon Blanc, which was chosen by Larry Grassini in honor of his wife Sharon's favorite wine. The family's legacy began in 1904 when Articondo Grassini left Pisa, Italy to start anew, and their tradition of hard work, love of the land, and family values continues through generations. Today, Katie Grassini leads the winery alongside her husband Dean McKillen as CEO and Estate Director. The vineyards are situated in Happy Canyon AVA, where Larry planted some of the first Bordeaux varietals in the late 1990s. Visitors can experience the wines at one of three locations: the Santa Barbara Tasting Room, open daily with seatings from 12pm-5pm; or by reservation only at the Santa Ynez Estate Vineyard & Winery or La Tarantella Vineyard Villa. The winery offers private events and wine club membership options, allowing guests to create unforgettable experiences amidst its picturesque settings.
