Grizzly Peak Winery

Grizzly Peak Winery is a winery located in Ashland, Oregon, within the Rogue Valley AVA. The winery was founded by Al and Virginia Silbowitz, who moved to Southern Oregon to raise their family but discovered a passion for wine. Although initially not part of their plan, they eventually opened Grizzly Peak Winery in 2011, partnering with winemaker Linda Donovan and her team at Pallet Wine Company in Medford to produce their estate wines. The winery's tasting room showcases around 12-15 distinctive wines, including a Reserve White Tempranillo and Reserve White Cabernet Franc. Events are held on the grounds throughout the year, including concerts, weddings, and wine tastings, with indoor events taking place in the barrel room during the off-season. Grizzly Peak Winery offers a Wine Club membership program, which provides members with priority invitations to special events, free wine tasting, and discounts on wine purchases. The winery is open for visits from May through October (Thursday-Sunday) and November through April (Saturday-Sunday), closed in January.
