Hummingbird Estate is a historic winery located in Central Point, Oregon, overlooking the Rogue Valley. The estate, built in 1926 as an English Cottage-style home by Louis B Humphreys, features five suites and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since its transformation into a charming inn, vineyard, and tasting room. Ed and Susan Walk, owners of Hummingbird Farm in Illinois, purchased the property in 2017 with the intention of creating a unique destination for wine tourists and locals alike. The winery is situated at the edge of Jacksonville, Oregon, a historic rural community recognized as one of America's Top 10 Coolest Towns by Frommers. Hummingbird Estate offers a tasting room experience without reservations required, open seven days a week from 12:00 to 7:00pm. Visitors can also stay in The Inn at Hummingbird Estate or book the Vineyard Cottage for an immersive wine country experience. Wine club members enjoy exclusive benefits, including first access to new releases and complimentary tastings. The estate's lawns are available for events and weddings, providing a picturesque backdrop for celebrations amidst the Rogue Valley's breathtaking scenery.
