J. Christopher Vineyard

J. Christopher Vineyard is a winery located in the Chehalem Mountains of Oregon's Willamette Valley. Founded by Ernst "Erni" Loosen, an internationally acclaimed winemaker from Germany, J. Christopher has been recognized as a Wine & Spirits Magazine Top 100 Winery four times since 2013. The winery is known for its Pinot Noir, which Erni has a lifelong passion for and first discovered in the early 1990s while visiting Oregon. J. Christopher's Appassionata Vineyard was thoughtfully planned to minimize environmental impact and foster biodiversity, with preserved oak trees, a wooded area, and wetlands maintained as an active wildlife corridor. The winery emphasizes sustainability as a core part of its business philosophy, extending to the use of reclaimed wood in its tasting room design.
