Jason's Vineyard

Jason's Vineyard, located in Jamesport on Long Island's North Fork, is a 20-acre estate that produces a range of wines showcasing the region's potential. Founded by Jason Damianos in 1996, the vineyard utilizes traditional names for its varietals, reflecting the owner's Mediterranean heritage. The property is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, while also sourcing additional grape varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Seyvel Blanc, Cayuga, and Riesling from local growers. Jason Damianos pioneered the dense spacing of vines on the North Fork, a technique that involves planting six feet between rows and three feet between adjacent vines, which is more densely planted than many other local vineyards. The winery offers wine tastings, by-the-glass and bottle service on a first-come, first-served basis, with pets welcome. Live music events are also hosted on site, making it an attractive location for private events and weddings.
