Juslyn Vineyards

Juslyn Vineyards is a winery located in the Spring Mountain District AVA, within the broader Napa Valley region. The estate is known for producing high-end Cabernet Sauvignon wines from its own vineyards. Craig MacLean, the winemaker, has an extensive background in enology and viticulture, having worked at various notable wineries including Chappellet Vineyard, Cain Vineyard and Winery, and Spring Mountain Vineyard. After founding his own consulting company in 1998, MacLean went on to establish JAQK Cellars in 2007 and currently produces wines under the Juslyn Vineyards label. The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon from Juslyn Vineyards is a single-vineyard wine, 100% estate grown and bottled, with only five cases produced. Tasting notes describe it as bone dry, full-bodied, with soft tannins. Visitors can experience the winery's offerings through various channels, including in-person tastings at The Saddle Room - Gastronomy Rooms Inc in North Aurora, IL, which also features a selection of other Premiere Napa Valley wines from notable producers.
