Founded by Kenzo Tsujimoto, a Japanese entrepreneur and video game developer, the estate was initially intended as an outdoor retreat for his company, Capcom. However, after purchasing the land from the company, Tsujimoto pursued his passion for winemaking, driven by his respect for Napa Valley's terroir. Under the guidance of renowned viticulturist David Abreu and Consulting Winemaker Helen Keplinger, Kenzo Estate focuses on a natural winemaking process, replanting its vineyards to optimize varietal characteristics and terroir expression. The estate's philosophy emphasizes creating superior yet accessible wines that can stand among the world's best. With over 60 acres of planted vineyard, Kenzo Estate has been producing wine since 2005, with a focus on elevating the unique expression of its extraordinary terroir.
