Le Cadeau & Aubichon Cellars Tasting Room

Le Cadeau Vineyard & Wine Tasting Room is located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA of Oregon's Willamette Valley. The winery is known for its focus on Pinot noir, with a 16-acre estate vineyard planted on high-elevation (610-725') volcanic basalt soil. The site features diverse topography and soils, allowing for careful microfarming to produce complex fruit profiles. Fourteen clones of Pinot noir are represented among the plantings, along with five rootstocks, resulting in a range of unique wines. Le Cadeau's winemaking philosophy emphasizes matching rootstocks and clones to specific soil types, slope aspect, and microclimate. The winery produces several cuvées, including Côte Est, Rocheux, Diversité, and Merci Reserve Pinot Noir, each showcasing the distinct characteristics of its respective vineyard section. The tasting room is located in Dundee, Oregon, at 1326 N Hwy 99W, Suite 101. Visitors can experience the artisanal wines of Le Cadeau, which are described as "Rocks Matter!" The winery's story begins with Tom and Deb Mortimer's search for the perfect vineyard site in 1996, leading to the purchase of 28 acres of raw hillside property in 1997. Today, the estate vineyard is home to a diverse range of Pinot noir clones and Chardonnay vines, all farmed with meticulous care to produce exceptional wines.
