Lumiere Winery

The winery was planted in 1980 with six acres of Sauvignon Blanc vines still remaining. In 1987, the Kleiner family purchased the property and began growing grapes for local wineries before eventually establishing their own label. Bordeaux wines are a specialty at Lumiere, with a focus on balance and natural chemistry in the fruit. The vineyard practices reduced crop loads to achieve optimal flavor concentration and ripeness. Signature varietals include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc, which were grafted into the property over time. The winery's tasting room is open Thursday through Monday from 11am to 6pm, offering a range of wine tastings and menus, including a Premium Wine Tasting Menu for $15 plus tax. Visitors can sample wines such as the 2021 White Red blend, 2019 Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc, and 2008 Le Cirque, among others. The winery's atmosphere is described as elegant, with a focus on preserving quality from vineyard to bottle.
