Martin Ranch Winery

Martin Ranch Winery sits along Redwood Retreat Road in the Santa Clara Valley, in the eastern foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Winemakers Thérèse and Dan Martin planted their first Cabernet Sauvignon on the family's 17-acre property in 1993, initially growing grapes for other wineries. They released their first commercial vintage of 625 cases in 2002 and began building the winery that same year, creating a working ranch where guests could gather and taste wine. The winery produces estate wines and small-lot releases that reflect the Santa Clara Valley and California's coastal wine regions. Visitors can taste by the glass or bottle, bring a picnic, and spend the afternoon among estate vineyards, gardens, a pond, and shaded seating areas. Wine club members have access to dedicated seating throughout the ranch.
