Today, the vineyards sit at an elevation of just below 3000 feet within a box canyon facing due West, allowing for a delta breeze that cools the vines in the evening and protects them from frost in the spring. The winery's Rhône-esque terroir is characterized by rocky soils and a unique microclimate, resulting in limited production wines with distinct flavor profiles. The Meikle family produces small-lot, high-quality wines using estate-grown grapes, with varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon sold out quickly, highlighting the demand for these unique wines. Visitors can experience the winery by appointment only, and membership in their wine club ensures access to limited-production wines.
