MJA Vineyards

MJA Vineyards is a Santa Cruz-based winery with a unique approach to winemaking, blending the spirit of Aloha from Hawaii with the expertise of two experienced winemakers. Rob Lloyd crafts Serene Cellars wines in Napa, CA, while David Middleton creates DaVine Cellars wines in Santa Cruz, CA. The winery's cellar is located on the Westside of Santa Cruz, where visitors can taste a wide selection of wines, including Pinot Noirs from the Santa Cruz Mountains and Napa Cabernets from esteemed vineyards like Howell Mountain and St. Helena. MJA Vineyards' portfolio also features a range of other varietals, such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Mediterranean blends. The winery's founder, Marin John Artukovich, has a rich background in cultivating Kona coffee, which earned him recognition from Forbes and the Pacific Coast Coffee Association. After years of perfecting his craft, Marin turned to winemaking, producing his first barrel of MJA wine under the Serene Cellars label in 2007. Today, MJA Vineyards produces around 8,000 cases of its Aloha wine each year, with a focus on handcrafting exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of its vineyard sites.
