Muns Vineyard

Muns Vineyard is a 13-acre, owner-operated estate in the Santa Cruz Mountains, situated at an elevation of 2600 feet above Monterey Bay. The winery specializes in Pinot Noir and Syrah, with a focus on showcasing its unique terroir through minimal intervention winemaking. The vineyard's coastal climate, characterized by foggy summers and cool nights, allows for the growth of premium Pinot Noir grapes. Dijon clones 114, 115, 667, and 777 are blended to create complex and well-balanced wines. Barrel aging in 30% new oak adds soft tannins that enhance the fruit flavors without dominating them. Visitors can experience Muns Vineyard through scheduled vineyard tours and tastings at their outdoor tasting deck, where they offer a vertical of Estate Pinot Noirs from different vintages, as well as their Estate Syrah and Rosé of Pinot Noir. Reservations are required for these dates, which are announced in advance on the winery's website and email list. Muns Vineyard also participates in various local events, including the Taste of Terroir Seated Dinner at Neely Wine, Date Night in Los Gatos, Loma Prieta Mountain History Museum BBQ, and Gourmet Grazing on the Green food and wine festival.
