Next Chapter Winery

Next Chapter Winery is a family-owned winery in the countryside of New Prague, Minnesota. The vineyard was planted in 2007, and Jackie Brockway opened the Barrel Room tasting room in July 2014; she and her husband Jeff became the sole owners in January 2025. Winemaker Timothy Tulloch barrel-ages and bottles the wines on site, using California grapes from Lodi alongside Minnesota hybrid varietals grown on the six-acre estate. The lineup ranges from dry to sweet and includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Marquette, Syrah, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Frontenac Gris, and several sweet and fruit wines. Guests can taste at the wine bar or on the dog-friendly patio, with charcuterie, pretzels, and snacks available; visitors may also bring their own food. The property doubles as a wedding venue, with a Barrel Room framed by wine barrels and chandeliers, a Red Barn that stays open to the public, a pond, and vineyard views.
