Old Creek Ranch Winery

The winery's history dates back to 1898 when Andy Holguin first envisioned it as a destination with "creature comforts." Antonio Riva, an Italian immigrant and chef, purchased the property in 1906 and established a winery on site, producing wine until around 1942, including during Prohibition. The original winery building, constructed by Riva in 1921, remained on the property until its demolition in 2021 due to safety concerns. Today, the winery continues to operate with an emphasis on dry farming and estate-grown fruit, as well as raising cattle and orchards. Wine tastings are available, with options including a six-oz tasting flight for $30 and an Eternal Summer Flight for $30. The winery also hosts special events, such as food pairings and live music, which can be reserved in advance through their website.
