Paradigm Winery

Paradigm Winery is a family-owned winery located in Oakville, Napa Valley. The winery was founded by Ren and Marilyn Harris in 1991, after they purchased the property where it stands today. The couple's connection to Napa Valley dates back to the 1960s, when they moved from San Francisco to farm land that had been in Marilyn's family for two generations. They converted a prune orchard into a thriving vineyard and later sold it to purchase their current property. Ren's great-grandfather, Juan Carrillo, was one of the earliest settlers of California, arriving in 1769 with the Portola Expedition. Marilyn's grandfather, Joseph Pelissa, immigrated from Liguria, Italy in 1902 and purchased land in Napa Valley for a $10 gold coin. The winery is known for its estate-grown wines, which are farmed using sustainable practices. Ren Harris has deep roots in California, being a 6th-generation Californian with ties to the San Francisco Bay Area. The couple's commitment to the local community is evident through their involvement in various philanthropic and professional organizations dedicated to serving Napa Valley.
