Philip Togni Vineyard

Philip Togni Vineyard is a family-owned winery situated at 2000 feet elevation on Spring Mountain in Napa Valley's western hills. Established by Philip Togni and his wife Birgitta in 1981, the vineyard has been farmed using organic practices since its inception. The property spans ten acres, with vines planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Philip, a veteran winemaker with over six decades of experience, began his career in Napa Valley in 1959 after studying oenology at the University of Bordeaux under Emile Peynaud. His daughter Lisa, who has worked harvests in Australia and Bordeaux, is set to take over the winery from her father. The Togni family produces around 2,000 cases annually, with their flagship wine being a Margaux-style blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for extended periods to showcase its aging potential. The winery's minimalist approach is reflected in its simple operation, with a focus on producing high-quality, estate-bottled wines that reflect the unique terroir of Spring Mountain.
