Plaisance Ranch

Pickle Ranch, formerly known as Plaisance Ranch, is a working ranch established in 1858 by the Ginet family. The winery is located in the Williams Valley, near Greyback Mountain, and is run by third-generation wine grape growers and ranchers, Joe and Suzi Ginet. The family's history in the ranching and vineyard business spans over hundreds of years and across two continents, with roots in Savoie, eastern France. Plaisance Ranch focuses on regenerative farming and low-impact agriculture, with 157 USDA-certified organic acres dedicated to raising beef cattle and growing wine grapes using organic integrity methods. The winery features a tasting room where visitors can sip and buy wines, including over 24 estate wines. Events are regularly held at the ranch, such as the Wine Down series featuring live music and BBQ dinners, and the Rogue Valley Farm Tour. The Ginet family's story is one of perseverance and tradition, with Joseph Ginet's American dream finally coming to fruition after generations of grape growing and cattle raising in both France and America.
