Portola Vineyards

Portola Vineyards is a family-owned winery located in Portola Valley, California, on the San Francisco Peninsula. Established in 2005, they produce hand-crafted wines that reflect the terroir of the Peninsula foothills. Their minimalist approach to winemaking includes native yeast fermentations, allowing the essence of their region to shine through. The winery is known for its Estate Pinot Noir, which received 91 points in 2021, as well as its Estate Rosé and Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay. Portola Vineyards also hosts a summer jazz concert series, where attendees can enjoy wine tastings and purchase bottles by the glass or bottle. The winery is situated near Stanford University and tech companies in the Bay Area, making it a popular spot for locals to visit. Len Lehmann, Debbie Lehmann, and Simon Bruno are part of the team that runs the winery.
