Prodigy Vineyards & Winery

Prodigy Vineyards & Winery is a family-owned operation on a 62-acre farm along Versailles Road in Frankfort, Kentucky. The Peach family planted their first grapevines in 1998, and after Chad Peach began making wine from the estate fruit in 2006, they opened an off-site tasting room in 2010 before moving the entire experience back to the farm in 2015. The winery produces all of its wines on-site from real fruit with no concentrates. Its lineup includes estate-grown Chambourcin, recognized as Best Dry Red in Kentucky, and award-winning Vidal Blanc, alongside Chardonnay, Vignoles, Riesling, and fruit wines such as blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry. Visitors can taste daily, with reservations preferred for groups larger than six. The tasting room sits on a working farm with horses, cows, alpacas, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats, and guests are welcome to bring their own dogs. The property also hosts weddings and private events in its banquet hall and barn.
