Quailhurst Vineyard Estate

Quailhurst Vineyard Estate is a historic property situated in the Ladd Hill area of Sherwood, Oregon's Willamette Valley wine country. The estate, built in 1971 and nestled into the Chehalem mountains facing Mt. Hood and the Cascade range, was initially renowned for its traditional Japanese gardens, numerous varieties of roses, and draft horses. Today, it is home to a boutique Pinot Noir vineyard, a world-class horse facility, and a romantic manor. Quailhurst's focus is on producing high-quality, single-estate Pinot Noir using select French Dijon clones in their mineral-rich, volcanic Jory soil. This unique terroir, combined with the estate's topography and environmental conditions, enriches the flavor profile and texture of their wine. The tasting experience at Quailhurst offers a one-of-a-kind setting, featuring panoramic mountain views, tranquil Japanese and rose gardens, and a newly remodeled modern indoor-outdoor tasting room.
