Qutori Wines

Qutori Wines is a family-owned winery in Paonia, Colorado, founded in 2017 by Julie and Kyle Bennett. The operation began as SkyHawk Winery and rebranded to Qutori in January 2019. Its estate vineyard sits at 5,800 feet in the West Elk Mountains along the West Elk Scenic Byway and West Elks Wine Trail, where the family grows Pinot Noir using organic practices, though they are not certified organic. The tasting room is inside Root & Vine Market, the Bennett family's café and market in a renovated former liquor store and warehouse across from the vineyard. Visitors can taste wines indoors or on the patio with views of Mount Lamborn and the West Elk Mountains. The portfolio centers on estate Pinot Noir, including a reserve bottling and a bourbon barrel-aged version, plus a Pinot Noir rosé. The winery also sources fruit from the West Elks and Grand Valley AVAs for wines such as Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Chardonnay. Qutori's 2017 Syrah won the 2019 Governor's Cup.
