Rancho Sisquoc Winery is a working cattle ranch, grape grower, and winery located in Santa Barbara County, California, with a rich history dating back to 1845 when it was granted as a Mexican land grant by Governor Pío Pico. The property has remained intact under the Treaty of Guadalupe, making it the only remaining intact land grant today. In addition to cattle ranching, which has been the primary operation since the 19th century, vineyards were planted on the mesas north of the Sisquoc River in 1968, and wine production began shortly after. The winery is known for its estate-grown wines, with a focus on sustainable farming practices that align with the property's natural environment.
